Blessings, Boundaries, and Bad Decisions

Blessings, Boundaries, Bad Decisions

**2/1/26** ACTUAL DATE WRITTEN

*A quick reminder:** Just because I am posting this today does not mean I wrote it today.

These letters were written in real time and are being shared later. I am allowing you to read my thoughts exactly as they existed before I knew how the next chapter would unfold……………………..

Hi guys!

Life has been INSANE. I don’t even have time to update you on everything, but I am going to try.

I only have a few stamps, so I cannot send prepaid replies. I’m sorry. I am having to pick and choose who I can send this to — basically all of you who actually write me back regularly!!!

I got my driver’s license back on Thursday and bought a cheap car this weekend!!! Next week, I will get the tag, title, and insurance and be back on the road.

The funniest thing is I don’t even really need the car right now. My roommate Hayley and my boss both WANT to drive me around.

I feel so loved. Honestly, I think that is the ultimate compliment. They both just want to keep every minute they can get with me.

Speaking of my boss…

I don’t even know where to start. Everyone was accusing us of having a relationship. We were always professional. I mean, we flirted, but nothing else had happened.

Then the drama started. You guys know I HATE drama. Like, truly hate it. But I also couldn’t quit my job.

Ironically, the more people and circumstances seemed to be trying to pull us apart, the more we were pushed toward each other.

By the way, he knows EVERYTHING now.

My past.

Prison.

Probation.

All of it.

He has been very protective of me, and I greatly appreciate that.

I have done really well at work and have proved not only my ability to do everything asked of me and more, but also my ability to separate work and personal life completely.

If my sister does not let me have at least a phone call with the kids soon, I am thinking of filing a motion. I just need to be emotionally ready for whatever that brings and make sure whatever happens is what is best for them.

I am starting my 8th Step now. I still go to four or five meetings every week.

I am also chairing my home group meeting on Tuesdays in March, so I will lead the meeting and pick the speakers.

Good things keep coming through the storms.

Love you.
