Hi there!

Sorry it’s been so long! I have so much great news to share with you all. I honestly cannot believe all of the blessings God keeps putting in my life. Where do I even start?

I got into the coding boot camp that pays you to go to school! I thought 40 people were selected for each cohort, but I was actually 1 of only 10 people chosen. The instructor even showed my website submission as an example of what he was looking for. I was so honored.

At the same time, my temporary job offered me a full-time traveling position. Probation approved it, but I will have to renew my travel pass every 30 days. It will be inconvenient, but it is worth it. I am also NOT ready to completely transfer my probation to another state until I am more stable and established on my own.

After a lot of prayer and thought, I decided to turn down the boot camp and accept the job. The boot camp no longer guarantees job placement, and I will actually be making more money than I would have starting out in a coding career.

I want all of you to understand what is possible. Five months ago, I was sitting where you are. Today, I am making 6-figures if you add in per diem and vehicle allowances!

I am giving my son my car for his 18th birthday because I am buying a new one that will be reliable for all of my travel. I have a savings account. I have a stable job. Life is good.

I still go to my meetings, and I was asked to speak at an AA meeting this Wednesday. It is a big meeting, so I am nervous, but I am excited.

I went to church today and had lunch with a couple of girlfriends. Those simple moments mean more to me than I can explain.

About the guy I am with. Listen, I care about him a lot, but for the first time in my life, I am not rushing anything.

He has offered me a home, his extra vehicle, financial stability, and an easier path, but I need to prove to myself that I can build my own life first.

I love you all and miss you!

Love,
Amy
